Summary | 0002106: Auto-Conversion: Synchronization of playlists with auto-conversion corrupts playlists
Description | When synchronizing a playlist and auto conversion is enabled, some of the track paths in the playlist spontaneously change immediately after the said track is converted and synchronized. e.g. 1) Synch AutoConvTest playlist using all 3 default rules. The playlist contains: Turn of a Friendly Card, Pt. 2.ogg Dead Bodies.mpc Star Baby.FLAC Tori Amos - 12 - Original Sinsuality.mp3 Sheik of Araby.mp3 Under African Skies.wma Yummy Yummy-Yawn Yawn Yawn.mp3 -->As the tracks are being synchronized, some of the paths of the tracks in the playlist spontaneously change immediately after the particular track is copied, rendering the playlist partially unplayable (the tracks that get corrupted in this manner can no longer play): Turn of a Friendly Card, Pt. 2.ogg 95E7_Dead Bodies.mpcF4EE Star Baby.FLAC 95E7_Tori Amos - 12 - Original Sinsuality.mp37E89 Sheik of Araby.mp3 Under African Skies.wma Yummy Yummy-Yawn Yawn Yawn.mp3 NOTE: The track location only gets corrupted in the playlist. i.e. if the user finds the track via 'Search' and then double clicks on it, it will play properly. Note: I tested for this bug and confirmed that it occurs with both the iPod Mini and the iRiver IFP MTP devices.
