| Description | Send To Email stopped working in MM5.x while it still works in MM4 NOTE: Tested with other apps like LIbreOffice (FIle -> Send -> Email as sdocument), File explorer -> Send to -> Mail Recipient | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Right click on track -> send to -> Email 2. New Email dialog (From default Mail app) gets open, but track is not attached (NOTE: same thing works in MM4 and attach file to new email dialog) Test enviroment: - Default Mail app is set in default apps options - "c:\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo\" and "c:\Users\Peke\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo\" should contain "Mail Recipient.MAPIMail" which should contain single line of Default mail app - Default MAPI mail client app (in case none are set) is controlled from "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail" "(Default)" key which data value needs to be same name as registered "Clients\Mail" subkey | ||||

It seems to be problem with configuration of your Outlook, I am not sure I can do anything with it. Assigning to Peke to try it too, but I do not think it is problem with MM. |

Re resolving and closing, there is nothing wrong in MM Simple MAPI call to create New MSG is parsed to Default mail client and issue is in outlook settings not MM as Error dialog say. Is it UWP version of Outlook? If yes, SMAPI calls do not work with UWP apps correctly local Outlook profile needs to be created as said in error dialog. |
