Summary | 0021165: Make Free Space reservation a global for device setting instead of a per Collection setting
Description | Currently users can set a reserve *** MB of free space in certain Collections. This means a user has no real method to leave free space when Syncing Playlists. - It's unavailable in Podcasts, Audiobooks and Playlists. - Users can currently set different free space requirements in different Collections, which is confusing when multiple Collections are selected for Sync. - Users can only reserve free space if enabling Sync random subset - Wi-fi Sync doesn't provide feedback on amount of space Sync will occupy - Users may need to leave a certain amount of free space to keep the device running, install new apps or for new photos/videos from the Camera. A global device setting forcing Sync to leave X amount (MB and/or %) of free space would allow users to select any content and still have Sync leave empty space on the device. The setting could be added with the Delete settings at the bottom of Sync list (Library -> Device) or on the Summary tab (where Free space is shown).
