Tested 1210, and although I was able to initially do a WiFi Sync successfully, on subsequent attempts I'm in a UI loop that prevents me from syncing due to missing access to /Video. i.e. 1 Sync > Storage locations to sync : Change --> Sync config wizard appears 2 'Choose' server content 3 Select content and click 'Done' 4 Next --> Grant Access dialog appears (/Video access not granted) 5 Skip --> Warning about an internal folder will be used 6 OK --> Sync config wizard appears again! (i.e. the UI is back at step 1 and in a loop!) Note: this is a problem with the UI logic (i.e. once the user clicks 'OK' at step 6, MM should proceed as if access had been granted since sync will now be to an internal folder). The workaround is to configure the 'Sync configuration' and then click 'Sync Now' separately. |
|
I was unable to replicate it. I kept the video folder without permission and used the skip button. Then in step 6 MMA returns to the 3rd step(Review settings) in wizard. Please send logs. |

Martin also indicated that he's fixed issue a) raised at 0021140:0076838 in which: a) Users get prompted (following app update or device boot) to grant access to folders that they may not want to grant access to (e.g. /Video) because they don't want to use them with MediaMonkey. The fix is to offer a 'dont' show this again' checkbox on the grant access dialog. BUT, if the user makes changes to 'Choose library folders' or to sync destinations then 'don't show this again' should be either unchecked or ignored. |
|
To clarify: It's not a checkbox, but a "Never" button. And I confirm that a user is asked again when some change is made. |

Build 1211 Crashes every single time it runs on an S24 (upgraded from build 1210). It appears that the grant access screen is flashing numerous times and then MMA crashes (a toast message indicates that a log was sent). This crash doesn't occur on 3 other devices that I tested Pixel 2 XL/Android 11, S10/Android 12, S7/Android 13. Also, the issue raised at 0021179:0076849 no longer occurs on the S10/S7. And, the Grant Access dialog no longer appears on startups subsequent to the initial startup. Is this intentional? |

Verified 1212 (that it no longer crashes). |
