Summary	0021215: Advanced Search: last-used Global search term always persists
Description	An annoyance in MM 2024 is that every time I initiate an advanced search, it's prepopulated with the last-used Global Search term. One might argue that there's some value in persisting the last-used 'Advanced search' (though I suspect that even this would be annoying), but MMW isn't even doing this--it's always persisting the last used Global Search!
Steps To Reproduce	1 Navigate to Entire Library > All files 2 CTRL-F and type 'help' --> Global search results for 'help' display 3 Navigate to Entire Library > All files --> Entire library displays 4 CTRL-ALT-F --> Filtered search results for 'help' display 5 Edit the filter to display tracks with Ratings >= 4 stars --> Filtered search results for tracks with Ratings >= 4 stars display 6 Navigate to Entire Library > All files --> Entire library displays 7 CTRL-ALT-F --> Filtered search results for 'help' display!

If a user does a Search Query, then starts Filter should Filter not take Search query (and close search box)? 1 Entire Library > All Files 2 Alt+F 3 Type Help (enter if needed) 4 Ctrl+Alt+F --> Search stays open, Filter shows without any filter, all files are shown image.png (20,872 bytes) image.png (20,872 bytes)

lowlander 2024-09-18 22:04 developer ~0077040	Verified on 3055, note that now the Filter button in toolbar is removed when a Search is done. Using Advanced Search takes search box query.
