DescriptionWhen using \<Album Artist:1>\ for the Album Artist .38 Special the resulting folder is \38 Special\

One would expect a single character folder per Mask, so either /-/ or /3/ if /./ can't be used (due to Linux).

Note, this also affects Sync.

I do not see the problem only limitation is that '.' Can't be first character of Folder/Filename. Otherwise it is allowed.

Hmm, I can't replicate, even if I prefix several dots it is ignoring them and is taking the first letter,
I wonder what's the difference? Maybe you are using another kind of dot? Could you share the sample file?
