Summary | 0021277: Leading . (dot) in filename causing incorrect folder in Organize Files
Description | When using \<Album Artist:1>\ for the Album Artist .38 Special the resulting folder is \38 Special\ One would expect a single character folder per Mask, so either /-/ or /3/ if /./ can't be used (due to Linux). Note, this also affects Sync.

I do not see the problem only limitation is that '.' Can't be first character of Folder/Filename. Otherwise it is allowed. |
Now I can replicate, it's cause by difference in [FilenameMappings] section of MediaMonkey.ini |
EXPLAINED: I added 2E= there manually in the past in order to be able replicate 0019916:0071470 But with the mapping 2E= all dots are removed => which is not desirable, MM should auto-remove just the leading dots (making hidden files on Linux NAS) |

Tested twice, each time AV 8BF90000 occurred. No AV was observed moving other files with Organize Files. Logs added. Note that Restart at end of crash also fails. It doesn't unload all MediaMonkeyEngine.exe (playback even continued) which leads to DLNA Server port in use warning as well). |
New AV send in, this now happened on other unrelated files. Note that this isn't consistent. Some Organize Files worked without AV. |
Thanks for testing, this happens for files with apostrophe in filename.. => Fixed in 3106 |
Verified on 3106, both issues resolved. |
