Summary | 0021290: Optimize re-downloading when "Force files to resync..." enabled
Description | If play-count or skip-count is updated on the MM5 side by playing tracks, then in subsequent synchronization are these tracks re-downloading when the option "Force files to resync whenever the source file has changed." is enabled. However, the physical file is not changed so re-downloading is unnecessary.

Improved in build 2.0.2.1220, but some changes on the MM5 side will be needed to fix it fully. MM5 sends updated modification time, even though the file was not updated(e.g. play count). In addition to the "Modification Time", MM5 should also send a "File Modification Time" to help MMA determine if a download is needed. |
