Summary | 0021318: CD Node can appear in wrong location and often isn't visible
Description | If a CD is inserted and new Collections are created, the CD node is shown above the new node (it normally is shown last). Ideally the position of the CD node would be configurable (I personally would love it at the top).
Steps To Reproduce | 1 Insert CD 2 Create a new Collection --> New Collection is shown below CD node, this persists after restarts.

IIRC, the current design is for the inserted CD to appear adjacent to the Folders node. The fact that adding a Collection causes the position of the CD node to change is a bug and shouldn't occur. I agree with the suggestion that 'Collections and nodes' configuration should include an option for CD (rather than hardcoding it to some arbitrary location) and that it should initially be between Devices and Service / Folders (placing it at the top would not solve the problem of it not being visible if focus rests at the bottom of an expanded tree). We might also want to consider changing tree position when a CD is inserted to make the CD visible. |

Fixed in 3150 Both temporal nodes ('Audio CD' and 'Downloads') are configurable now |
