Summary | 0021403: Installer warns MM5 is running, instead of MM2024
Description | When trying to install MediaMonkey 2024, it warns that MediaMonkey 5 is currently running, while it's actually MediaMonkey 2024 is already running. On a side note, MM is running as a Portable Install, and I'm doing a separate Portable Install. I wonder if this message can be delayed till after install directory is chosen and only be shown when install directory equals running MM's directory?

Fixed in 3102 Note: I changed it just to 'MediaMonkey' because 'MediaMonkey 5' and 'MediaMonkey 2024' have the same mutex so it is impossible to distinguis them.. It is always better to close all instances once installing another (even portable) because it can e.g. import DB/settings which is safer on closed instances (when DB/settings to import is not used) |
