Implemented in 3402 i.e. added [-][+] buttons to Properties > Lyrics tab to shift the time +/-100 ms on each click when there is no selection then whole lyrics are shifted |

I haven't tested the functionality, but the UI needs improvement since: a) users will have no idea what +/- do b) it's quite difficult to use since the user can't listen to the music and see the impact of any change. A more ideal implementation would allow the user to adjust the synchronization _during playback_, so that the user can see whether the changes they're making are correct. Possible approach: 1)a) In the Properties dialog, highlight lyrics as the track is playing (like in the 'Lyrics' element). That way as the user adjusts the time, they can see whether lyrics display correctly in sync. b) Move the '+' '-' from above the lyrics to the bottom (inside the text box) of the 'Synced lyrics', and replace with: [Start earlier] (Subtract time) [Start later] (Add time) |
