| Description | When casting from MMA to MMW over UPnP with build 1277, clicking NEXT to advance to the next track will often cause the second track to skip (and sometimes numerous tracks to skip). This seems more likely to occur when Volume leveling is enabled and when NEXT is clicked towards the beginning of the track. I'm able to replicate this fairly consistently and submitted the following debug logs illustrating this: D4Y6M1JXBZ G8AECJ81C5 There doesn't seem to be a pattern as to what audio format triggers the bug. Though I have noticed that it'll occur more often with some pairs of tracks. (e.g. press NEXT while playing 'Don't ask me why' --> 'John the revelator' skips). Sample tracks uploaded to the ftp server. What's particularly strange is that the issue occurs very often on a Pixel 7 (A16), but I can't seem to trigger the issue on a Pixel 5a (A14) which is a much slower device! Note: It's possible to replicate the bug with build 1276 (tested on an S24 / Android 15) so it's not a regression in build 1277. Debug log: J9RKTJXX9V | ||||

There are several improvements in 2.1.1.1280, which should fix this issue. Please retest with this build. |

Test note: after weekend playback on 5 UPnP/DLNA/Chromecast devices and more than 3000 tracks playes and/or skipped I officially can't replicate Android A14/A15/Google TV (A15/A11) |

This still occurs with build 1280: In this log, John the Revelator was skipped on a Pixel 7: log P22QSI5BP1 Replicated a second time (same track, same device): EQQH6M4HPM Same track, S24: FBTJ7HEYA4 Replicated with 'Dumb things' track, Pixel 7: 4NHHXTU4JI Note: - whereas previously the issue occurred consistently, with build 1280 it only occurs some of the time. - In both cases, the track that was skipped was an MP3 that followed another file type (M4A in the first examples, FLAC in the second). - When casting, the seek bar initially shows an indeterminate position. The bug is more likely to occur if clicking 'NEXT' _after_ the seekbar shows the correct position of the track |
