Summary | 0000220: Modifying read-only file changes attribute permanently
Description | If the user tries to change a tag property in a read-only file, then they are asked whether they really want to make the change considering that the file is read-only. If the user selects 'Yes' then the file is updated, however, the file attribute is changed permanently. Expected behavior is for the app to make the change to the tag, but that the file attribute should remain as it was after the operation has been completed. Alternatively, though less optimal and non-standard, this can be corrected with a simple text change to the dialog from: File <filename.mp3> is read-only. Do you want to change it? to: File <filename.mp3> is read-only. Do you want to change it to read-write, and update the tag?
Additional Information | Setting priority to 'high' because this can be fixed trivially.
