It usually scans correctly, but on this occasion, after deleting the Public/MediaMonkey5 folder and then installing/running MMM
--> scanning got stuck at file 142: 81 Push.mp3

I just did a similar test again: deleted /Public/MediaMonkey5 and then ran MMM

Re-opening following test with build 3502 5/7.
1 Clear DB
2 Initiate scan
---> everything proceeds smoothly
3 Switch to Music > All files after about 1000 files have been scanned
---> MMM crashes / shuts down

Tested 3504:
- Deleted all tracks from MMM
- Use the 'Clear library' function
- Initiated scan
--> Scan froze after about 300 tracks
--> Crashlog on attempt to close MMM

This still occurs with 3504 05/13

Tested with focus on the Music > All files node:
LogID 3126CBF6

Tested a second time on a clean install (with focus on the 'web' node:
LogID 9B36D214

In both cases, MM fails to terminate normally after the crash and a second crash occurred as MMM terminated (the logs failed to send).

Note: the frequency of the crash seems to be related to which node is in focus. If focus is on Music [Browser view] or Web node, MMM will often scan > 1000 files before it crashes; If focus is on Music > All files [List view] then it usually crashes after < 500 files have been scanned.

Tested 3504 5/14 and the issue still occurs

LogID 82E45FA5
Application throw an exception Worker: Access violation at address 0000000109790BEB, accessing address 0000000000000000

This crash occurred immediately after the first one
LogID 82E45FA5
Application throw an exception Worker: Access violation at address 0000000109790BEB, accessing address 0000000000000000

Soon after the second crash, MMM froze. But it was possible to terminate it.

Tested 3505 0515 and although the crash occurred on one occasion (logs shared directly), I was unable to replicate the issue on 3 other tries.

However, I've share a video that illustrates other problems that do occur consistently:
1) When switching between nodes during the scanning process, the clicked node will often become selected but the view will not update to reflect the contents of the node
2) When switching between nodes during the scanning process, the rate at which files are scanned gradually decreases
