Currently we have no library to browse network so only way how to do is to open network location in Finder and browse using /Volumes/ folder

I've been able to verify this issue, but it requires a bit of gymnastics that appear to be OS-related:

In Finder, I was unable to browse the SMB/CIFS network location containing /Music because as Finder would never prompt for login credentials. In order to login to the SMB network, in Finder I had to click Go > Connect to Server, then enter the server location and wait for the credentials prompt. Once this was done, the network location was mounted and it became possible to scan the network location via:
Add location > Local storage > NameOfSharedSMBFolder
or
Add location > Network > Path to Network
