| Summary | 0022194: File lost on Organize Files | ||||
| Description | Organizing a set of files 1 file was lost (deleted) on organizing, The File 07. Michael Jackson - Heal The World.flac was not moved to the new location, but was removed from the old location. MediaMonkey gave an error that file wasn't found. So it seems it was deleted before the move happened/completed. Path in MediaMonkey remained the old Path for the file (where it no longer resides), and it wasn't found in the new location either. Recovering from recycling and doing Organize Files again had the file moved successfully. | ||||

yes, I see TAdvancedErrHandlers.HandleError(9, \\Lowlander09\Multimedia\TempMusic\Michael Jackson\Dangerous\07. Michael Jackson - Heal The World.flac, err: Could not find file \\Lowlander09\Multimedia\TempMusic\Michael Jackson\Dangerous\07. Michael Jackson - Heal The World.flac, it will not be moved. in the log and wondering why it could't find the file.. Could it be that the file was somehow temporarily inaccessible (e.g. network issue on the NAS ?). Are you sure that the file was in recycle bin? I don't see a deletion/removal action in the log, so maybe you somehow (accidentally?) removed it (before?) ? Is it reproducible? |

|
Not reproducible, so far with other files. nor with the same file once restored. Yes, it was in the Recycle Bin on the NAS. Even if the the NAS/network was unresponsive, MediaMonkey shouldn't delete the file if it can't access/move the file, it should've remained in the original location. |

ok, based on the log it does not look like that it was MediaMonkey that deleted the file, but I added more debug messages for the next build (to be sure). |

|
So please give another try in 3514 (together with producing debug log) |
