I don't think there's much use for the time markers unless there's also a means of editing them.

BUT, I it's not useful/feasible to manually edit synced lyrics in these (Preview/Lyrics/Playing [Lyrics]/Playing [Album]) views unless we can also add buttons that appear to adjust the lyrics timing forward/back.

One way of doing this would be to have up/down buttons that would move the full set of lyrics to the currently playing note. But I expect that this is non-trivial.

OK, so the issue isn't specifically that the Preview/Lyrics windows need timestamps, but rather that:
1) there's no easy way to adjust the offset in such a way that the user can see/hear whether the adjustment is correct. i.e.
- The Preview/Lyrics panels which play & display lyrics don't allow the offset to be edited
- The Properties dialog which allows the offset to be edited, doesn't allow this to be done while they're being displayed/heard
This results in trial and error process to get the offset right.

2) This should at the very least be doable in the Properties dialog, but ideally in other panels--if it can be done without 'overloading' them.

Perhaps a first step would be that:
I) in the Properties dialog:
- If the currently playing track is shown, then the Synced Lyrics should be displayed in sync
- If the user adjusts the offset (via Add time / Subtract time), the adjustment appears 'Live' in the properties dialog
- If the user clicks in the textbox to edit the lyrics, then lyrics stop displaying in sync (until the user exits edit mode)

Note: it might also be a good idea to change the buttons orientation so that they display to the right of the lyrics one above the other so that the orientation communicates the direction in which lyrics are 'pushed'. e.g.:
 '↑ Subtract time'
 '↓ Add time'

OR

'- time'
'+ time'

OR

 '↑'
 '↓'

II) In other synced lyrics panels, attempts to edit synced lyrics opens the Properties > Lyrics dialog tab ?

Implemented in 3530, i.e.
* Synced lyrics follow the currently playing track.
* Add/Subtract time updates the preview immediately.
* Clicking lyrics enters editing and stops synchronization; leaving the editor resumes it.

[Subtract time] [Add time] buttons left as is to save vertical space

II) In other synced lyrics panels, attempts to edit synced lyrics opens the Properties > Lyrics dialog tab
Implemented: clicking synced lyrics or pressing F2 opens Properties > Lyrics, with Synced Lyrics selected for the displayed track. Advanced Preview respects “Allow edits.”
