Summary0022428: Configure View dialog box should be opened with one click from menu
DescriptionWhen user wants to modify the current view (e.g. to change sorting order or to add fields below artwork in grid view) they need to open the Manage view dialog box first, then to click on the pencil button of the selected view to open the Configure View dialog box. This is one dialog box and one click more then it is needed/wanted.

One solution: add the gear (option) icon to the right side of each view item in the View menu (main and toolbar). Click on that icon would open the Configure View dialog box for the current view directly. I don't like this solution because it would cause too much displayed gear icons on the right side of menu.

Another solution: replace the Manage views option in View menu with the Configure View option; options/controls from the Manage views dialog box move to the Fields/Columns page in the Options dialog box. That page is already accessible from the Configure View dialog box with the Settings button.

Or, you could add the Configure View option and keep the Manage views option in the View menu.

I just realized my second suggestion with the Manage view controls moved to the Options dialog is not possible because the views displayed in the Manage views dialog depend on the currently selected node.

I suppose the best solution would be to just add the Configure View option to the Main panel view sub-menu above the Manage views option.
