Summary | 0002456: MediaMonkey play history isn't synched to Devices
Description | As discussed in bug 2451, when the user plays tracks on the iPod and synchs to MediaMonkey, playcounts update, however, when the user plays tracks in MediaMonkey and then synchs to the iPod, the play count on the iPod doesn't update except in cases where the track changed in some other way! The net effect is that play counts will generally be innacurate since they will only reflect what the user has listened to on their iPod.

Just a comment on this: severity of the problem is lower than described, it only influences what user sees if browsing a connected iPod on PC. The total playcount on PC will _always_ be correct. (Plus it probably affects Smartlists on iPod, if user uses them) |

Peke, could you verify, is it still an issue? There has been a lot of changes in this area.... |

Ok, setting as resolved anyway. |
