| Description | There's a rather strange bug in which a user has metadata for tracks, but when those specific tracks begin playing, the metadata temporarily disappears from view (even though it's still in the db). According to what I've seen it's caused by the known behaviour of My Computer node (i.e. when MM can infer some fields from filename and these fields aren't present in tag). I think it's covered in another issue here, we can try to figure out some way how to improve this. |

Can you explain how this is related to any of the following issues? All the existing bugs are related to changes associated with Re-scanning tracks or Viewing them in the My Computer node). I suppose it's causes by a discrepancy between tags and data in DB, in case a rescan can't resolve the issue, the user can send me a track that causes the trouble (so that I can compare it with the DB). |

Cannot repro and have not seen any similar reports. Changing priority to low. |

This can be observed in MM 4.1 as follows: 1 Scan a directory to the library 2 Edit Track 2&3 from that directory using MP3Tag (change rating in 2 and composer in 3) 3 In MM, refresh the directory within the My Computer node --> track edits display 4 Play Now, beginning with Track 1 --> Metadata modifications made in step 2 disappear from the view. |
