Summary | 0002710: Radio streams take about 6 seconds to start playing
Description | If the MM tries to play a radio station OR stops/restarts a radio station, it takes about 6 seconds for playback to begin EVEN if all crossfade/smooth playback settings are disabled. Note: I'm not sure if this is related, but I also noticed that the timer for playing tracks is not in synch with the tracks. e.g. track 1 ends, but the timer continues going until ~6 seconds into track 2 at which point the timer resets to 0.

Fixed in build 1012. - There was a bug in my old fix of in_wmp3.dll. - The fix should be merged into MM 2.5.5. |
|
Tested build 984, and it seems to be fixed, but now the timer isn't working! i.e. the time is always 0:00 when playing streams. |
|
It works fine for me. Wasn't it the you had 'remaining time' set on Player, which shows always 0:00 on streams? Or what stream did you use? |

You're right. It's a usability issue related to the fact that the timer was counting down. I'll enter a new bug. |
