| Description | I haven't tried myself, but I'm sure that we haven't done anything about this yet: When QuickTime isn't installed, our f_aac plugin can't play any mp4 content. Since this is quite a specific issue where a standard plug-in can't be downloaded, but rather a huge QuickTime needed, I prefer a specific solution in this case, i.e.: Quicktime is needed to play M4A and other AAC Tracks. Do you want to download it? [ ] In the future, do not ask me. [OK] [Cancel] If Ok is clicked, http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download should open in the default web browser. Note that the message should be localizable! |

I haven't explicitely specified it here because it thought that it's clear, but the error message and all the related functionality should be handled by the plug-in itself and not the main application. Please modify it... |

And one more problem with the current implementation: It currently shows the dialog in a thread - it doesn't work well, because no visual operation can be done in a thread, it should be fixed too, otherwise 'Canvas doesn't allow drawing' error appears frequently. |
