Summary | 0003379: Adding album art names files incorrectly
Description | As reported in http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19770, if user assigns an image to tracks of an album, there are created several files on disk, like folder1.jpg, folder2.jpg, etc.

Tested in 1061 and found that: 1a) Select single track and save folder.jpg to Album Folder via Properties -- PASS in most cases -FAIL when attempting to add folder.jpg from the /<Album> folder. In that cases MM creates a new file folder1.jpg and links to it. 1b) Select single track and save folder.jpg to Album Folder via Album Art Dialog -- PASS in most cases -FAIL when attempting to add folder.jpg from the /<Album> folder. Error message occurs: "Problem with copying file xxx.jpg [Cancel] [Retry] [Ignore]" I don't quite understand why it fails differently in these 2 cases, but it does. In both cases, if the user is trying to add art from a track that is in the folder in which the tracks exist, MM should be smart enough to just link to the track. |
