| Description | Tested 1061 and found that whenever the user tries to remove album art that has been added to the Album folder via the Album Art window, MM fails to do so. Examples: a) Remove linked art via Album Art dialog Single track -- FAILS b) Remove linked art via Album Art dialog Album -- FAILS c) Remove linked art via Properties dialog Single track -- PASS d) Remove linked art via Properties dialog Album -- PASS e) Remove embedded art via Album Art dialog Single track -- PASS f) Remove linked and embedded art via Album Art dialog (Single Track) -- FAIL (it sometimes passes, and I don't understand why--it should fail just like case a), but it usually fails). What ends up happening is that the art appears to be removed but then reappears. Most easily reproduced as follows: -Auto tag track from Amazon, saving image to Folder (note that folder already contains unlinked folder.jpg) & Tag -From the dialog, right click and delete first Album Art -From the dialog, right click and delete the second Album Art -->Art appears to be removed -Select the track -->Art reappears -Examine the art in Properties > Album Art -->There are 2 Album Art images: One of the actual Album Art, and a second one that is Blank (i.e. the 'no Art image' is the image)!!! This 'no art' image only seems to appear if there originally existed folder.jpg and it was overwritten when auto-tagging. | ||||

I can't reproduce. By Album Art dialog - do you mean that docked Album Art panel? Have you used mp3s, or another format? |

I was testing with OGG files. I just tested this with MP3 and OGG and the problem only existed with OGG (I didn't originally perform with MP3 as I didn't expect there would be a difference in implementation for linked art). |
