| Description | The Now Playing window has a number of really nasty bugs that should be resolved prior to release, if possible. These issues are presently spread across several bugs that overlap in many cases, making it difficult to get a clear understanding of the overall picture. I've consolidated the bugs here: 1) 0003510 In the Main Panel: if Dock to Window is disabled -->'Show Now Playing Controls' and 'Show Play Controls' options disappear -->The Now Playing and Play controls appear in the toolbar even if the user configured MM not to show them The same set of options should exist in either mode, and persist. 2) 0003493 In the MiniPlayer (context menu or List>View): Dock to Window is disabled by default. As a consequence, something similar to item 1 (but worse) happens here i.e.: -->The only 2 options are 'Dock to Window' and 'Set Transparency'. 'Dock to Window' isn't needed in the MiniPlayer and 'Show Now Playing Controls', 'Always on top', and 'Restore' options are missing! If the user happens to enable the 'Dock to Window' function: -->The Now Playing Window blanks out completely! -->Other irrelevant menu items appear (as in item 1): 'Show Titlebar' and 'Show Play Controls'! -->If the user disables the Now Playing and Play controls, the following occurs with no obvious way to fix: ------>They still appear in the toolbar for the miniplayer's Now Playing window ------>They are removed from the Main Panel's Now Playing window! 3) 0003867 Right-clicking on the toolbar of the NP window should not show View Options at all. It should only show toolbar options (view option should appear mainly in the View context menu) i.e.: -Show Now Playing Controls -Show Player Controls To summarize the other expected menu options: -Right-click on Mini-Player --> Always on Top, Set Transparency, Restore -Right Click on Mini-Player's Now Playing > List > View --> (Always on Top, Show Now Playing Controls, Set Transparency, Restore) -Right Click on Main Panel > Now Playing > List > View ---> (Dock to Window, Show Now Playing Controls, Show Player Controls, Show Titlebar) Note that items 1 and 2 are far more critical than item 3: | ||||

4. When user disables "Dock to window" option, there's no way to get it back. 5. When "Dock to window" is disabled and user will double click on track in tracklist, player always plays track currently selected in NP. |
