Summary | 0004504: <Shift> <Delete> Doesn't delete currently playing track in 'Now Playing'
Description | If user tries to <Delete> a playing track in the Now Playing node, they're prompted whether they want to proceed as it will interrupt playback. If user tries to <Shift> <Delete> the same playing track in NP node, the track is removed from the DB, but continues playing. What should happen is that the user should be prompted whether to delete the track even if it interrupts playback.

Tested 1151. The correct dialogs appear, and the track is removed from the library, but it isn't deleted from the HD! |

OK, I didn't implement this. Fixed in build 1152. i.e. Shift+Del from 'Now Playing' deletes the tracks also from disk. Btw. Why the string is 'Are you sure you want to permanently delete x tracks?' What does the word 'permanently' mean?? It confuse me. |
|
re-opening even though I didn't test because there may be some confusion: 'Permanently' means 'forever'--i.e. <Delete> deletes to the recycle bin, so the user can recover. <Shift> <Delete> deletes permanently--the track cannot be recovered from the recycle bin. If that's how you implemented this, just re-resolve this... |
