Summary | 0004539: album art + details view: Clicking selected tracks causes selection to be lost
Description | steps to reproduce: - click on the artist node. - change to "Album art + details" view mode. - ctrl click (or shift click) a bunch of single tracks - let go of ctrl or shift - try and drag the tracks into the now playing. - you will lose the selection and only be dragging the one file - this is inconsistent with the correct behaviour which occurs in the normal list view. as a side note: if you select the last track and don't let go, you can often still drag the whole lot into the now playing.. however, I have found this can sometimes crash mediamonkey.

Tested in build 1177 and it seems to work correctly. If I'm mistaken, or you have different repro steps, please re-open. |

After discussion with Dale, it seems that the bug _does_ exist. The bug is that in the AA+Details view, clicking already selected tracks causes selection to be lost UNLESS the user holds the <CTRL> button and clicks the mouse twice (once to deselect and a second time to reselect). e.g. in Details view: -select 2 tracks -press and hold the mouse button on one of the tracks -->tracks remain selected in AA+Details view: -select 2 tracks -press and hold the mouse button on one of the tracks -->track get deselected |
