We should also do something in case the given node isn't visible in the current view/filter. Maybe try to go to any of visible Artists nodes? |

I think that's a good idea. e.g. 1) Go to the selected node 2) If node isn't visible, go to the next visible Artist node that doesn't already have a shortcut: [Artist&Album Artist], Artist, Album Artist [Artist], Artist&Album Artist, Album Artist [Album Artist], Artist&Album Artist, Artist But I'm a bit worried that this might be confusing. Perhaps the answer is to not specify which Artist is being linked to. e.g. Link to Artist just links to whatever Artist node is displayed first, and Link to Artist (2nd shortcut) links to whichever Artist node is displayed second. |

I'd rather simplify the logic: A. When the chosen Artist node isn't visible, try to find it in the first visible Artist node. I think that it's least confusing and makes sense. |

A. implemented in build 1199. i.e. 'Go to Artist node' now goes to the first visible Artist node in order 'Artist & Album Artist', 'Album Artist', 'Artist'. This works in case of the toolbar button and 'F8' shortcut too. |
