Summary | 0004744: Tracks sorted Path/Filename don't display in correct order when Track# is key to the sort
Description | When MM sorts tracks by Path or by Filename (as they are by default in the Location or My Computer nodes)--> track 1 appears then track 11, then track 2 instead of track 1, 2, ..., 11. This regression occurs due to the change in the Track# mask. Note: windows explorer sorts the tracks correctly.

This isn't a regression, it never worked this way. It doesn't have any relation to Track# field, this is a simple string sort order. What you are describing is sometimes called a 'natural' string ordering and we might implement it in the future. |

To clarify: it's a regression in the sense that this issue never plagued users before now. Now it's an issue because of the fact that by default we don't force <Track#:2>. |
