Summary | 0004822: iPod Synch: Don't delete Smart Playlists by default
Description | As reported at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/staff/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=viewticket&ticketid=1626 MM should not delete .pla files from the iPod by default. Perhaps the simplest solution would be to add this extension to the exceptions list.

I wonder whether there's actually any need for a fix. As confirmed in the Ticket noted above, the exception mask *.pla (or e.g. Smart*.pla) works well, which should be fine (and more useful) for users who need this feature (probably not many anyway). |
|
So shouldn't we just change the default exception list for iPod devices to include Smart*.pla ? (since most users will not know what to put in the exception list to prevent this form happening). |

Fixed in build 1202. (Note that it takes effect only on new installations or newly connected iPods, it doesn't modify existing settings.) |
