Summary | 0004859: mp3's encoded by MediaMonkey and joined by an "mp3 joiner" do not allow for correct seeking in iPods
Description | As described at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/staff/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=viewticket&ticketid=2202&departmentid=2&ticketstatusid=2 Basically, when an mp3 has been joined with an "mp3 joiner" and then added to an iPod from MediaMonkey, the iPod won't allow seeking in the file past the length of the first track (before the files were joined). I was able to reproduce this with a file that the user sent me when adding the file to my iPhone. This may be an mp3 encoding issue since the user reported if he rips his CD to mp3 files using iTunes, then joins the mp3 files and syncs the file through MediaMonkey, he is able to correctly seek through the file on his iPod.
