| Description | This hotkey seems to fail in any node other than the Now Playing node. To reproduce: Go to Tools | Options | Hotkeys Assign Ctrl+Q to "General: Focus tracklist on currently playing item" Select some list of tracks to play. Select a track that is not currently playing (not in Now Playing), hit Ctrl+Q. The selection is not made. Go to Now Playing node, select a track not currently playing, hit Ctrl+Q. The selection is made. | ||||

In 1218 now the track is brought to the center of the panel in now playing and main panel, but it is not selected. |

Yes, it is very easy to fix this so that the track becomes selected too. But I am not sure what is intended here. I think that the word "focus" means that the track should become focused, not selected. Rusty, could you comment? |

The current wording for this feature implies that the track will be selected. Note that from a design perspective, we might want to change the wording in the future to e.g. 'Go to the currently playing item' which doesn't imply selection, though I still don't see any real benefit of not selecting the track. So if it's trivial, we should make the change. |

In 1219, the currently playing track is selected but the previously selected track is still selected when the new selection is made, so the user is left with 2 tracks selected instead of just the currently playing track. |
