Tested 1229 and the fix is partial and problematic.
-It's partial in the sense that tracks that are auto-analyzed don't have their volume analysis coefficients updated in the tracklist (manually analyzed tracks are updated in the tracklist though)
-It's problematic in the sense that as tracks are being analyzed (manual analysis), the tracklist moves around!! i.e. it's impossible to do anything in the tracklist while analysis is taking place.

This problem may not be related to this fix--need to investigate further.

Rusty, i'm assigning to you for some testing (hope you'll find anything more about that) as i still can't reproduce.

Petr, I was able to easily replicate. Here's how:

Rip a set of tracks to FLAC and copy them to an external drive.
Define a monitored folder and set MM to auto-analyze tracks.
Copy the ripped flac tracks to the monitored folder.
Switch views to Library > Location > Monitored folder
-->Tracks will gradually appear in the monitored folder, and the status bar will show that they are being analyzed, but the tracklist doesn't show the volume analysis numbers that have been calculated.
