Summary | 0005533: Automatic volume analysis re-analyzes tracks multiple times unnecessarily
Description | If tracks are copied/ripped to the MM library, and automated volume analysis and album analysis is enabled, and tracks are copied more slowly than the speed at which volume is being analyzed --> for a set of ten tracks, the first is analyzed 10 times, the second 9 times, the 3rd 8 times, etc.... This occurs because MM 'completes' the album gain analysis because it isn't aware that additional tracks from the album will be downloaded. A simple solution to this issue (proposed by teknojnky in the forum) is to delay any automated volume analysis on an album for e.g. 2 minutes. That way each track from the album can download (assuming it completes downloading within 2 minutes) and volume analysis only begins after all tracks have been downloaded.
