| Description | When iTunes Version 8.1.1, introduced April 2009, is installed, MM no longer recognizes iPhones or iPod Touches. Workaround is to Uninstall iTunes, Apple Mobile Device support, and Apple software update, and Install an older version of iTunes. 8.1.0.52 is the last version before the functionality was broken with MM (found at: x32 http://www.filehippo.com/download_itunes_32/5448/ ,x64 http://www.filehippo.com/download_itunes_64/5449/ ) Setting as 'immediate' for technical triage. | ||||

I have iTunes 8.1.1.10 and I haven't observed such an issue yet. |

I also don't see any problem. I wonder whether it could be related to jailbroken phones only? A debug log from anyone having this problem might help... |

It seems to be some kind of machine/software problem that we can't resolve (more info in the forum post). |
