This has always been this way and so I'd rather defer the change after 3.1 release, due to possible regressions or complaints. Not a big deal either way... |

I would prefer Current behavior. Especially as scripts can and take advantage of that. Example: I play some track and I want to remove it from now playing but wish to finish playing it. So marking next track would be wrong and make an Regression. My repeat single track for example work on that behavior. Anyway clicking on Next will highlight next song. I must say that this is one of features I really like in MM and definitely don't consider it a bug. |

Only in cases when playback is stopped and if "Delete from library and Computer" is chosen behavior by initiating manual Now playing DELETE (like explained in Topic) it would be reasonable to highlight next track in all other cases behavior should be the same as it always been. Even putting beside that will break lots of scripting functionality features, I agree on what Jiri said that is risky at this MM 3.1 stage. |
