| Description | In some cases, the search bar scope indicator (e.g. "Entire Library", "Current Selection"), fails to show up when it should. 1) Example with Docked Search bar (reported at http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=40327 ): 1 Launch MM with docked search bar 2 Click in search bar (Entire Library disappears) 3 Click in floating Now Playing Expected: Entire Library reappears Observed: Entire Library does not reappear 2) Example with Floating Search bar (reported at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=40339 ): 1 Launch MM with docked search bar 2 Float search bar 3 Click in search bar (Entire Library disappears) 4 Click in Track List, or (floating or docked) Now Playing Expected: Entire Library reappears Observed: Entire Library does not reappear. I don't think that clicking in Track List, or (floating or docked) Now Playing should cause "Entire Library" to reappear. Why? It has always behaved this way. "Entire Library" reappears only when you change a node, because it is node dependent. There is nothing to fix. |

I think the point is that as soon as focus exits from the Search bar, it makes sense for the UI to show what would be search if a search term was entered. e.g. -Start library decide to do a search, but change mind --> search bar is now empty -search bar remains empty -half hour later, user wants to do a search, but there's no indication of what will be searched It's a minor issue, but I think it makes sence. |
