| Description | The readme currently indicates that MM is tested with Vista, XP, Win2000 (SP3/SP4), Win 98 SE, Win ME . In actual fact, Win98 and WinME both have CD-related issues unless a patch is used. In addition, our testing on 98/ME/2k is fairly limited since the release of 3.0, so we should either a) expand automated test suite to run on those OSes or b) indicate that although MM is known to work on those platforms, it isn't officially supported (in the same way as MM works on WINE in Linux, but isn't officially supported). --> a) readme needs to be updated b) 3rd party sites should be notified to be in conformance with the readme | ||||
