Reminder sent to: Ludek Can you check this out Please. |

Reminder sent to: peke Peke, the description "Problem with Sync of some M4A and M4P files to iPod" is very poor. Do you have some links or example files? |
Have you checked noted ticket ID as there is big log file attached. Let me know if you need example files but most of them are m4p. |
I use the default "simple" view, that was the problem. |
From the log it seems that it has nothing to do with M4A or M4P files, it just freezes when copying: C:\Users\akempe\Music\Buck 65 - Dirtbike\Buck 65 - Dirtbike Vol.2.mp3 -> D:\iPod_Control\Music\F08\Buc2.mp3 Both files are locked, but never unlocked. It really looks like a simple problem with copying some files. Jiri, any idea? Not enough space on the iPod? File already exists and is used by another app? |
Jiri, from the log can be seen that file D:\iPod_Control\Music\F08\Buc2.mp3 was removed 1 ms beforehand. Probably file system handled the deletion little bit later or some app used the file at the same time. I have already seen similar problems and therefore I added ForceDeleteFile() function I use on one place in MM code and maybe we should use something similar in the sync code too? |
I still think it's as I originally suggested in the eSupport, i.e. that the iPod gets somehow disconnected from PC. Have the user tried to access its drive letter after this problem? |
Reducing severity to 'low' since we haven't been able to reproduce to date. Awaiting feedback from user before closing. |
Resolving since we weren't able to reproduce or find out more. |
