Summary | 0006297: Prevent users from editing tracks on database-driven devices
Description | For certain devices, e.g. iPods, the user should be prevented from making edits to the tracks (e.g. album art changes via properties, or auto-organize), as doing so will trigger situations in which the edits may not stick, or worse, the files are lost. This should be configurable at a device profile level. e.g. it might be OK for most USB Mass Storage Devices.
Additional Information | This situation crops up periodically. See: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/staff/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=viewticket&ticketid=8034
