I don't think so. I'd say that most users expect stereo sound coming from all speakers, see e.g.: http://www.un4seen.com/forum/?topic=11848.0 http://forums.macrumors.com/archive/index.php/t-131604.html http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=286642 In case there's a lot of feedback about this in 4.0, we can consider some more complex configuration to allow different mixing results - possibly even with some 3D effects, etc. |
