Description | Currently there is no way to show extension/plugin license Information while installing plug. Only exception is or own MediaMonkey Codec Pack The quickest and easyest solution would be that in case "License.txt" (case insensitive) MM Show it in "License Agreement" dialog Before proceeding installation of plugin. NOTE: No String Changes are needed | ||||

This is already implemented, license.txt is shown in case it's present in the MMIP package. In can also work for multiple languages, in which case there must be e.g. licenseDE.txt. I'm not sure whether it's documented though. |

You are right, although I have found small bug. In case that license.txt is missing but licenseDE.txt exist. I thought it will show that file instead. |

Only in case you have German set as your language in MM. |

What if script developer is German and do not supply English License.txt I'm guessing it should show it or at least TODOC should note that license.txt must be in MMIP no matter what license language is. |

Sure, it must be documented, but that's all, I don't see any reason for modifying the current implementation. |

It would be nice if we could add License.html to the package with some links which could lead to the author's site or similar. |
