I'm not able to reproduce it. The file is played well In Win7/XP (using QuickTime Alternative Lite or QuickTime and QT source filter) and imported is ok with thumb (scanned details: Video - H264, 960x540, 15fps, 231kbps; Audio - AAC4LC, 2 channel, 48000Hz, 96kbps, English). Do you reproduce it always? If so, please attach debug log. |
I copied same file on other folder to test your theory and file was imported correctly. Then I tried to Import file again from original Path and it failed to import. Is it possible that we have another issue of path length? Log File is Uploaded to FTP. Please if we are both right delete MOV file from FTP to not take space and confuse. |
Yes, it will be path length issue, I cannot create your filepath in XP, it throws "full path is too long" error, when trying to copy your file to your path. |
Resolving. I think, we can do nothing about it, Windows cannot deal with paths longer than MAXPATH (260) chars. |
Check How Splayer handles that, also you can internally Shorten path by using ShortPath option like we added http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.php/ISDBFileSystem::GetShortPath to solve same issue in Scripts. Additionally See: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa365247%28VS.85%29.aspx#maxpath |

Reminder sent to: jiri, rusty If It is too risky at the moment defer it to 4.1 |
Fixed in build 1600. Fixed also long path handling for tagging and other file types and plugins. |
