If user have problem with micro player, he should simply uninstall MM, restart PC and then install new version. |
This do not help (6,7,8) in case MM4 is installed prior MM3 uninstall. Especially if MM player is not shown in list of Toolbars. I was not able to fix until our IM talk to confirm manual DeskPlayer registring. |
Peke, any idea why this is occurring in this particular case? i.e. many users have upgraded without such a problem? |
No unfortunately, user had several playback and stability issues (error 214 on startup) with MM3 along with no ability to show micro player like users reported in forum. It is possible that problem was caused by users system and collection of apps he used on the system. I thought that it is very strange that after several MM reinstall problems were still present until I manually registered DeskPlayer. After which all problems vanished. |
Peke, please create a debug log of the issue so that we have a rough idea what exactly crashes. |
I can't as I explained it was on remote session with user that now do not have any more issues. |
Ok, setting as resolved since we don't have enough info about what has happened. |
Closing, no additional reports since. |
