Any idea why this might be the case(I checked for all device plugins--they all display correctly). It's not an 'urgent' issue, but setting as urgent in case the symptom is reflective of some other more significant issue.

I misunderstood. I thought the problem was the fact that the you saw \C:\ instead of C:\

We can fix this in the future.

The problem is that it shows with parenthesis leading the user to believe it should be entered with parenthesis when it shouldn't.

In all instances where I've used this, and it has also been reported in the forum -- the drive letter is not included at all. So shouldn't the tooltip really read:

\directory\,\directory 2\

Correct, and as pointed out in the forum:
\Folder1\, \Folder2\, "\Folder name with spaces\", \FolderNameWithoutSpaces\, ...and so on
