Testing note: Various playback scenarios should be tested (mainly various formats), as the change could cause regressions. Hopefully not though, since it isn't _that_ big. |

Test Note: user bmcclure has indicated that the issue issue (mm closing on tag at end of track) is still occuring for him. Waiting on more info. |

I wasn't able to get anything meaningful from the log and so I asked the user over e-mail for more tests. Resolving for now, since it isn't clear whether there really is an issue, will reopen in case I get more info. |

The issue is still not fully fixed. I've attached debug log from these steps: 1) play "02 - Breathe.mp3", seek near the end 2) in the last second of playback, rated this song -> after some delay, playback of the next song "Amarok.mp3" started, but the GUI showed no progresbar (0s to 0s) and I cannot stop playback neither by Stop button nor from menu. 3) I've tried to doubleclick Art&Details window, playback started again and I finally could stop the playback. I cannot reproduce it always, but sometimes yes, always with described result. Edit: I can reproduce the same behaviour also by clicking Next just after rating. |

According to charlieMOGUL at http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=61673 , this bug is not completely resolved, and MM still crashes when rating a 320kbps CBR MP3 within the last 20 seconds. Debug log posted. |

Set to 'high' since it's not reproducible, and the issue existed in MM3. |

Reopening, because tagging a track at the end (especially for mp3s) I can make playback stop completely. Not a huge problem, but some users (like here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/staff/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=viewticket&ticketid=17895&departmentid=2&ticketstatusid=1 ) say that MM will still crash. I have not been able to crash MM by doing any tagging in the last seconds of playback, but playback does stop. |

Petr, according to the eSupport entry (Ticket ID: IAE-202611), we should have EL titled "Rating a song near the end of it." Could you please look into it? |
