Summary | 0008654: Drag and drop can shift the tree
Description | If you hover over a folder in the tree for more than a couple of seconds, the folder will "expand" and show all of its subfolders. However, the mouse pointer can end up pointed over something other than the original folder that you were pointing at. If you let go of the mouse at this point, the file gets moved to a folder where it was not intended to go. When you "expand" a folder, MM should still point at the same parent folder, even after the view has updated to display the subfolders.

Stephen, not sure I understand. The only way that I can expand a node is by clicking the 'expander' or by double-clicking on the node text. i.e. I can't expand a node just by hovering over it?! btw, I do see that expansion can sometimes shift the position of the tree, but that behavior occurs in Windows Explorer as well. |

Doesn't seem to be an issue, this is the standard behavior. |

Here's a video illustrating the described behavior: http://youtu.be/8wpOC3rd_NY Note that I intend to bring the track to folder 'Steve' but the folder expands and the tree shifts, bringing me instead to 'Steve\Pictures\' folder. However, I've also tested in Windows Explorer and the tree behaves the same way. |
