| Summary | 0008766: Improve Art Browser image quality | ||||
| Description | In MM 4.0, image quality in the art browser was compromised for time/performance reasons. For MM 4.0.1, as discussed with with Jiri/Petr, the quality will be improved, with probably only a negligible impact on speed. | ||||

	Fixed in 1460 |

	Art Browser image quality is improved over 4.0 on 1460, but still lacks sharpness when made very large. |

	It's really hard to make something better with that as it's using thumbs generated for AA view which is 160x160 (texture for Art Browser is 256x256 now). |

	Maybe up to x height it could use thumbnails and beyond x height it uses original art files? Or there is a user option where users can choose between thumbnails (faster) and original art (slower). Especially in a more media center centric setup and even more with movies the art quality is important in the Art Browser. |
