| Description | Users often move files to a new drive (same path) due to install of new OS, or drive failure. A quick way to fix the now inaccessible files for users would be the ability to right click on drive in Location node, select Locate Missing Drive and have the user select which drive to use.
This can be further enhanced by verifying that the files exist in new Path and ask user to leave files on old drive or move to new drive when not found. This should include a question like, file x not found on new drive, update path anyway? with options Yes, No, Yes (to all), No (to all) and probably Cancel. |
