Summary | 0009256: Status (file count/data) bar should auto-expand
Description | When no background task status bars are shown or they're shown maximized the total file count status area should use full program width. On small resolution screens this is getting cut off.

The status bar can be double-clicked so that it can be shown on its own row. Doesn't that solve the problem? (i.e. as far as I can see, the indicator re. the number of files/time fills up the entire now in which it's displayed if no other status bar is displayed within that row). |

No, that actually shows the problem. The status bars you double click on are the background process statusbars. The issue is with the filelisting statistic status bar (left side of status bar). This shows x files, xGB, x time (selected x files, xGB, x time). This gets cut off on small resolution screens as it has a fixed width. Either auto-expand to fill full program width (when no background process status bars are shown) and/or allowing users to increase/decrease width used for this statistics bar would solve the problem. |
